I guess there must be something tragic about cabaret artists. Like clowns, they attempt to convey too much positivity. I guess you've seen Moulin Rouge, so you know what i'm talking about...and by the way, this cat reminds me another painting of yours, with a cat and a mouse, looks like it's the same cat there, only older.
And of course, the painting is quaintastic.

Gorgeous. She almost reminds me of an 18th century lady (only the boots being visible would be scandalous!). I like the way she seems stoic, yet in her eyes seems rather tired.
