I like this series of dogs you've been doing, I really do. I'd love to see more of these anthropomorphic dogs in this particular era, maybe even around the world. so interesting.
On the other hand the missionary looks like a fine lad who is a little unconscious on the morally questionable action of imposing an alien religion to the natives, particularly due to the attack on aesthetics that is Asian catholicism. Hey, it's the truth. But he's saving "the savages" from eternal damnation.
And on a second look at the picture, this is not Asia, it's probably an arabic country in North Africa, like Tunisia. Thus, the bulldog is French...but I don't feel like inventing another story.
